The picture was taken by one of her closest friends, actor and photographer Roddy McDowall. He persuaded her to pose naked by promising her it would be done tastefully.She then gave it to Todd as a present after he proposed in 1956 – the pair married a few months later but the relationship was tragically short-lived.
Todd was killed 13 months after their wedding day when his private plane crashed during a storm over New Mexico.

World's 'sexiest computer hacker' appears in court charged with $3m computer scam
Kristina Svechinskaya has been dubbed 'the world's sexiest computer hacker' after helping plot a $3million computer scam.
The Russian femme fatale has been compared to former Russian spy Anna Chapman for her role in helping to mastermind a multi-million pound bank fraud scheme.
The 21-year-old was arrested in New York this month for her role in a internet fraud ring who used computer viruses to steal more than $3 million from US bank accounts
Svechinskaya was one of 37 people charged for their involvement in the scheme, which saw hackers use 'Zeus Trojan' and other Malware, to hack into people's computers.
The computer hackers then secretly monitored the victim's computer activity, stealing bank numbers and passwords, which they used to steal thousands of pounds from people's personal bank accounts.
The stolen money was transferred into hundreds of fake bank accounts set up by 'money mules' in the US.
Russian-born Svechinskaya was one of many 'money mules' who helped open false bank accounts for a ten per-cent cut of the stolen money.
She allegedly opened at least five accounts under her own name and the aliases, Anastasia Opokina and Svetlana Makarova, into which over $35,000 was fraudulently deposited and $11,000 successfully withdrawn.
The brunette beauty now faces up to 40 years behind bars for conspiracy to commit bank fraud and false use of a passport.
She will appear in court in New York tomorrow.

Row as French mayor bans under-18s from art exhibition showing X-rated photos of teenagers having sex and taking drugs
The Mayor of Paris has come under fire for banning under-18s from a museum's photographic exhibition because it includes sexually explicit shots of teenagers.
The move by Bertrand Delanoe against influential American photographer Larry Clark has been branded 'backward and reactionary' by the French Human Rights League.
The show, Kiss The Past Hello, includes some graphic black and white images of teenagers kissing and fondling each other.
Mr Delanoe fears legal challenges if he lets minors into the exhibit by Clark, 67, who is also a filmmaker best known for his controversial 1995 film Kids with its raw portrayal of teens, sex and drugs.
A 2007 French law forbids showing pornographic images to minors under 18 and is punishable with up to three years' jail and a fine of £75,000.
But the cautious interpretation of the law has baffled many in a country where bare breasts are not uncommon in mainstream advertising and soft-core porn is shown on television with a parental warning message.
Clark said: 'To forbid 16 or 17-year-olds from coming here and recognising themselves is ridiculous. I see this as an attack on youth, on teenagers. These photos are for them.'
The Liberation newspaper showed one of Clark's shots on its front page - a young naked couple embracing and visibly caressing each other's genetalia.
The exhibition is showing at the Museum of Modern Art of the City of Paris, which is run by city hall. The Greens party has asked the mayor to explain himself, calling the move 'censure.'
Delanoe defended his decision and added: 'What was easy (to show) 20 years ago causes problems today.'
In a letter to the Greens last week, he said a ban on youth was the only way ' to allow a great artist to show in a great Paris museum.

Sesame Street pulls Katy Perry from show
Katy Perry's cleavage is fine for Russell Brand — not so for Elmo and Sesame Street. The children's show says it won't air a taped segment featuring the "California Gurls" singer and Elmo. The pop star — who is known for her risque outfits — wore a gold bustier top as she sang a version of her hit "Hot N Cold." But some felt it was too revealing for the kid set.
